Oubliette Geschichten

A collection of poetry duets. I get verses 1-3-5 and my partner gets verses 2 & 4. My partner chooses the poetic topic and title and this collection is the result. Verses must be four lines long and of any poetic style. We hope you enjoy whatever inspiration comes your way...

"You can run. You can hide. But you can never escape." Thirty students. Five killers. One door to freedom. Woodsville was known as a pure and serene town. No violence, no crime, just people living their lives in peace and harmony-at least that's what the records say. But it all change when Emerald Mors transferred three years ago. Somehow, students tend to stay away from her. Because every person that did her wrong disappeared out of nowhere. Rumors started to spread-rumors that have twists and turns about her. Emerald never talked about it, instead tried to upgrade her confidence and was selected to be the student body's president for her remarkable grades. She never knew why, but always felt it had something to do with her. So she as well, distanced herself from students other than her friends. She thought then that it is like being Raze West and his group: always secluded. Raze West and his friends is probably the first people that have distanced their selves from other students yet are highly profiled. With their looks and status, they are like a pariah but always have the spotlight. The last time someone disappeared was a year ago. Nobody expected it to happen. Nobody expected that a crime would soon be committed in Woodsville. Emerald didn't expect that she would be included to the thirty students that will be abducted. Now, brought to an unfamiliar place, Emerald and her friends, with a help of the mysterious Raze West must survive and find a way out. The only problem is, the door is not on the ground.

"The Caves" is an idea, a message in a bottle. It is esoteric philosophy and base reality. On the surface, "The Caves" is a D&D type game straight out of 1985 with a very simple 3D engine but some fluid and engaging game-play. But that part is just the book-binding; the real story is inside. The story can't just be published on its own because part of the message comes from the medium itself. Dell is a woman who wakes to find the place of her evident incarceration abandoned. All are gone save for her, and if this wasn't puzzling enough her memories; troubling as they are, have left her. Dell leaves the tower and it is as though a spell is broken, her memories begin to rise to the surface of her mind like waves breaking upon the sand; receding before much sense can be made of them. She travels through this world of faeries, magic, and bloodshed to seek out her vengeance for her family. Her journey to find herself begins, and she soon finds out she has a larger role to play in the world than she would have ever imagined.

The story of a man named Jassron. This is his story, from his own perspective. At first, his thoughts and writing are scattered and broken, as he is given a new chance at life. Within his prison cell, he comes face-to-face with an adventuring pair, who give him the chance to escape. As his time apart from the Oubliette becomes longer, so too, do his thoughts become rational again. Rational thinking draws the memories that have been hidden for so long ... and memories lead to a purpose ... This is a six-part story of Jassron, and a future glimpse into the ongoing story of Duncan and Lilly.
