Shuichi was different from the other but, Kokichi never knew he was crazy as a yandere into he started to understand he was acting weird when he went to his house after drinking. While in the killing game Kokichi is forced to become social with everyone because of Kaito's influences. They then later become really good friends even after what Kaito does to Kokichi. Unfortunately the action that Kaito takes on Kokichi backfires and then later gets to him causing something unpredictable to happen that no one really expected to happen. . . . . Saihara walked into the classroom. He had his head down and his hat on, so it was difficult to see his face. Everyone else in the room was talking, and didn't seem to notice him walk in and over to a desk in the back of the classroom. They buy you and your brother's prescriptions when your out, they lend you money when you want to buy something that you need, and they even think of you two as their own. Sweet, right? They were the one who told you and your brother about the school for Ultimates like yourself.

A year or so after the game has ended, Shuichi finds himself at a standstill. He is forced from his home, and he had no idea where to go. He assumed life would be better once they escaped the simulation. However, due to a series of circumstances, he comes face to face with the enigma that he hated so much. Even worse, he had to ask him for help. A slice of life story as Shuichi and Kokichi's relationship grows, and we end up learning a lot more about Kokichi's past and experiences.
