This was a big opportunity for all students including Kaede, to showcase their talents to people all around the world and potentially get sponsored and hopefully catch the eye of someone important. Kaede knew she could not mess this up, but when the time came for her performance a hooligan wearing a clown mask ruined her show by making the piano disappear into thin air. Will he be able to find the peace he desperately sought out? Or will he continue to further fall deeper within the pit of despair?

Basically- this is a princess and thief au where kokichi is a famous thief in the kingdom, and he continues to steal from the castle, which Kaede is the princess of.
