Shuichi begins to notices that Kokichi is actually rather brave at heart, yet that may cause him trouble, that he doesn't even see coming... But, the pressures of Kokichi's job as a teacher leave him blind to Shuichi's affections until something happens to him, and he turns into a forbidden, a demon, who lives off other's love and energy. How will Kokichi manage to keep his devil side hidden away, and keep his forbidden love for a human locked away, especially as Shuichi is years younger than him?

(This book takes place in an au where the despair incident and the killing never happened and the v3 kids are attending hopes peak; I also changed the relationships a bit and backstorys since this is an au)Shuichi Saihara was prepared for his first day at Hopes peak high! HIs good friend amami rantarou goes there and so does his child hood crush kaede akamatsu! He's really excited to be attending such a wonderful school and getting to see kaede and amami again! All was going well until he accidentally picked a fight with a bunch of thugs! Some short kid came to help but little did he know that that "kid" went to his school and he would be stuck in one of the worst case scenarios in his life!

Shuichi must put the puzzle pieces together to solve the case of the missing boy and find out who this ghost really is, but at what cost? (cover art not mine)

This tale follows two young men on their path to discover who they are and who they want to be.

Kokichi Ouma is a peculiar boy, he has a hard time expressing his emotions, so when he gets thrown into a killing game with his crush things get 10x more complicated! Will he be able to survive the killing game and balance romance? in this story i am ignoring the ending of v3, the backstories will be real and not fabricated, so please do not mention it!
