The Australian bushfires raged into town, forcing everyone to leave, but little did they know, a five year old boy was left behind in their haste to get away. His fight for survival is fused with his sister's determination to find him.

So this was my English assessment from 2014. It's an intervention after a short story called 'The Red-Backed Spiders'. This features the draft and final copy, and I have attached the Original Short Story at the back.

A year past since get to the outback maddie and her friends enjoy they new life in the outback and maddie and pretty boy have kids but then goat come back try to take them back to the zoo now with they new friends have to work together to stop goat

An unknown rogue satellite is discovered that threatens to unleash Armageddon from the heavens. A man wakes up in hospital in an outback town and can't remember who he is or why he is there. He goes looking for answers and uncovers more than he bargained for. Before long, it becomes a life or death race with the people who want to kill him. As he tries to stay one step ahead of them, he gets some help from a beautiful nurse. Together, they uncover a sinister plot with far reaching consequences. The events culminate in a race to survive and one that will test the very foundations of their relationship.

An Australian version of an old fairytale

Jack Donovan is too tough to cry. And life isn't kind to him. So begin the trials and tribulations Jack endures as a disillusioned 11 year old until he reaches his manhood at 19. He is a boy left alone to fend for himself in outback Western Queensland, Australia. It is set in the 1960's, during a time of great cultural change. A world, where the hardness of the land, dictates the hardness of the people who live there. It teaches Jack valuable life lessons, as he learns to fend for himself in a harsh world. It teaches Jack to be too tough to cry. Jack learns about love and mateship. Jack is a man's man, who can ride anything with fur and can fight like a bag of mad cats. Through it all, Jack keeps his sense of humour, as he approaches life the only way he knows how - head on.

A hike through the Australian outback turns dark as a storm hits

'Two battle-scarred hearts with one chance for happiness.' English nurse, Fleur Armitage, wants to escape all reminders of the Great War, which killed family and friends, by living as far from its reminders as possible, so travels to outback Australia. Jack Edgarson is a pastoralist, war hero and damaged man. He lives in isolation, fearful he may harm someone. Through a chance meeting, their lives become entangled and they come to share a love of the wide western plains, but dare they love each other?

Lexi was only a 7 months old pup when her world was turned up side down, a larger park had attacked her beloved pack which was now separated and know where to be seen. Her world now is with a new pack in which she trys to find a mate and when she finds him dangers occur and once again her world changes but who knows what her future holds.
