Joseph Samuel Wilkins was better known around the Old West as Slippery Sam. He had a reputation for getting himself into a mighty amount of trouble, then almost magically slipping away before the consequences of his actions could catch up to him. Those actions got him labeled an outlaw, so he had nothing left to lose. He figured he might as well make the most of it, but how long will he keep running before he ends up right back where he began? NOTE: This is not a flowing narrative, but rather a sequence of short stories featuring the same character. Each chapter may have nothing to do with the one before, and minor characters in one story may never be mentioned again. You have been warned.
