From that point on, he made seafaring his occupation, rather than work on land. Julian is the newly born daughter of the Douglas family which are a wealthy family which live in a huge castle guarding over a kingdom. But she get herself intertined with the thief Stephen bonnet and the two fall in love.

Claire's punishment by Jamie does more harm than good. Already emotionally fragile from one failed relationship, Claire cannot cope with Jamie physically harming her. He worries that his traditions have broken his usually strong Sassenach bride. An alternative outcome of the domestic punishment scene from my version of my AU Outlander fanfic story 'C20th lass' (in progress).
