Being Blake Langermanns sister had it's ups and downs. Ups were things like becoming friends with his wife, Lynn, and getting free helicopter rides. Downs were whenever you talked to Lynn it was always about strange murders, and whenever you got helicopter rides you always had to land in sketchy, spooky areas. It had been a good while. A while since Val got out. The asylum had left its mark-deep, ugly, and impossible to ignore. Now, everything felt like a target for her hate. The sun was too bright. The dark was too quiet. And the world? The world was the worst of them all. She didn't believe anything could ever break through the gray. But she find out that at the asylum going weird things on. Illegal experiments. And that's not the only thing what she find out. She find about herself something special out. She is not a normal girl and she is not working there, because they need a nurse. She is there because..... This story is based from the video game "Outlast". This story focuses on the idea of "what if". I noticed a passing resemblence between Val from Outlast 2 and Jill Valentine of the Resident Evil Series. I want to see what it'd be like if they indeed were one and the same.

I was doing some research online about Val Knoth and apparently they are non-ambiguous however I'm going to refer to Val as a male for the purpose of this fanfiction.
