Love works in strange ways ...is something that's been said by countless wannabe philosophers and heartbroken adolescents alike. There's some truth to that, though. I mean, if I was going to choose someone to break my heart, it certainly wouldn't be Piper Mayberry, of all people. But it was. And now she hates me. Entry for the Out of Your Comfort Zone writing contest. And yeah, I don't write romance. Or from a male perspective.

This is my first entry for the Out of Your Comfort Zone Writing Contest! As my username suggests, poetry definitely is NOT my forte, but hopefully my (somewhat sappy) piece is enough to move me forwards. I dunno.

Contest entry in Round One of @FlaxFlame's writing contest, "Out of Your Comfort Zone". Writing Prompt: Write a poem about light with a sad tone. I do not normally write poems. I don't read Wattpad poems that much, either, so I hope you like it!

A short poem about light, sunlight in general, in a sad tone or depressing point of view. This was made for a contest, and I hope you all enjoy. (Including the judges)
