    Wayfield is the kind of town where Friday night football is religion, reputations last generations, and everyone knows which side of town you belong to. Fifteen-year-old Jordan Lee Jones has spent most of his life watching from the sidelines, filling notebooks with stories instead of living them. The son of the legendary Serpent King, Jordan wants nothing to do with gang politics, old family feuds, or the weight of the Jones name. But in a town built on bloodlines and loyalty, choosing to stay out of the fight isn't an option. When a ruthless outsider known as Malakai arrives in Wayfield, old rivalries erupt into open warfare. The streets become battlegrounds, innocent lives are caught in the crossfire, and Jordan is forced to leave behind the quiet observer he once was. Alongside his best friend Isaiah, the fearless Raela, and the Serpents who have always called him family, Jordan must navigate deadly gang wars, murder investigations, betrayals, street races, and impossible choices that will shape the future of the town. As the violence escalates, Jordan discovers that becoming a leader isn't about earning respect through fear-it's about deciding what kind of man you're willing to become when everything you love is on the line. In Wayfield, loyalty is earned in blood. Family is everything. And growing up might be the most dangerous fight of all. WAYFIELD is a coming-of-age crime drama blending small-town Americana, outlaw motorcycle culture, mystery, romance, and explosive action into a fast-paced story about identity, legacy, and finding your place in a world determined to define you before you can define yourself. It explores the thin line between family and obligation, the cost of violence, and whether one teenager can break free from the cycle of revenge before it consumes everyone he loves.

    Me Te Aroha » Something horrific dawned in my heart: I was in New Zealand and he lived here. I lived in America, La Push, with my family. My Imprint, the man I would love eternally, lived all the way across the world...literally oceans away. Pain and fear bubbled, I felt myself choking at the thought of being torn from him. Space and time would separate us. It's hard when your soul is forever stitched to another's. Leah/OMC {Set after Breaking Dawn}

    Life in the zones is very simple. The law is what we live by. No one disobeys it. Everyone follows it. Nobody questions it. For those who go against the law there is no escape, no matter what the crime is. They are found. They are disposed of. Nobody mentions them again. Life in the zones used to be so simple... But now I've messed up. There's no turning back now. I have to run. __________________________________ In a steampunk word influenced by technology, everyone has a part to play. Everyone has a role. Just like parts of a machine. That's how society works. That's how this society survives. Once you have your role, it can never change. What's done is done. But what if you don't like your role? What if you'd be willing to go to the extremes to change it? That was my mistake. There are no spare parts in a machine-like society. When one piece breaks off, that's when it all falls apart.

    // first runner up in young forever awards 2018 // "you ever think 'bout the stars?" yoongi questions, his head turning slightly to catch a glimpse of the younger boy's golden eyes staring into the sky as though every possible answer to every possible questions lied hidden in the starry dances of the constellations. jungkook bites his lip, shifting slightly away from yoongi. it wasn't that he hated him, it's just that he felt closer to him if he was farther away. he poked his tongue at his cheek anxiously, trying to come up with a response. eventually, he rolled his head to the side to stare at yoongi's cotton shirt, dirtied by the gravely contents of the earth as they sleepily daydreamed with their backs to the core. jungkook stumbled out, "y-yes. stars-pretty. making wishes to stars." the sentences were completely jumbled up and messy, yet somehow yoongi understood every single nervous bit of it, and a smile tugged at the corners of his lips. "what do ya wish for, mouse?" he asked, his twang of accent rolling against the sweet words of his tongue. jungkook's heart melted at the sound of yoongi's vibrating voice that echoed within him. he covered his ears to prevent himself from hearing such an intensely gorgeous noise, smiling sweetly. he giggled, his cheeks taking on a slightly pink tinge, "wish for yoongi to love me." -lowercase intended. chimromantic 2018-

    Dear New Origin Writers Realm Acquisitions, Reality is an illusion. Nothing changes when you die. The monsters keep eating, the treasures stay hidden. Those damn rubies keep picking up fingerprints and the occasional splatter of blood. The world just keeps going on in its infinite loops. It's as if everything is prearranged, like some story in one of your very fine books. I should know, I died once. First though I should introduce myself, the greatest swindler of them all. Not many people know my real name and I like it that way. I have worn so many faces, gone by so many names. I've been counts and paupers, lucky bastards and ill favoured hags. I have many stories to tell, some of them true. With that in mind I would like to present for consideration of publication with your press my manuscript. Oh, and my name? People call me Fate.
