Forgetful of time studying for an exam, Flora's attention was split between remembering what the particular protein displayed on the screen of her mobile was and hurrying back to her room for some semblance of sleep before morning. As midnight approached that grew littler and littler with each passing second. In her final year of university, Flora had her entire adult life ahead of her but it all depended on passing those examinations. With a graduate offer in her grasps, Flora wasn't going to let anything stand in her way-not the voices in her head, not the many teachers and tutors who told her she should not reach too high, and not the rogue meteorite broken from the starry rain hurdling right for her. Flora took cover behind a tree and closed her eyes after the meteorite crashing into an open area in the park sent debris of dust and twigs in all directions.
