Grief still lingers in Milo's chest like a ghost. With Max gone, they cling to August, the only anchor they have left. When the two travel to California to visit Milo's cousin Lior, they hope for sunlight, for healing, for something like a new beginning. Instead, Milo's sickness spirals toward crisis, and August faces a secret of his own - an unexpected pregnancy that could either bind them closer or break them entirely. Will love be enough to hold them together, or will the weight of loss, illness, and fear finally tear them apart? - Note: this book contains implied depictions of eating disorders, along with trauma, near death, self harm, chronic illness, etc. Please read responsibly. - (Part 2. A story of pain, purpose, and finding your person - even when you're lost. "How does it feel to be ignored by your own parents?" To stand alone on stage, receiving an award - while your parents don't even glance your way? Meet Ishika Rathore. A girl who craved nothing but love. Who did everything to earn her parents' attention - only to be met with silence. Until one day, a tragedy broke her completely. And the soft-spoken girl turned into someone cold, distant... and unrecognizable. Years later - on the prestigious training ground of LBSNAA - she sat on a bench under a dim light, her eyes swollen, her cheeks streaked with tears, her body trembling. She thought she was invisible again. Then, a boy knelt beside her. Calm. Warm. He gently placed a water bottle in her hand and whispered with a smile - "Take it. Cry your heart out. Then drink it. Because if you get dehydrated, how will we win that gold medal here?" And they both burst into laughter. That moment didn't erase her pain - But it reminded her she wasn't alone. Because this story isn't just about becoming an IAS officer. It's about broken hearts, silent battles, second chances - And two souls learning to heal... together.

Enter a world of wonder as you follow the young fairy Ehrynn Frostthorn on her path to uncover the mysteries surrounding her past. Advisory age: 13+ ✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧ SYNOPSIS It's been over a cycle since I was almost caught by the Hunters, since I was torn apart from my family and was thrown halfway across the dimension, to the Realm of Magic. They say Magic comes from who you are as a person, from your inner strength and determination to follow the path you're on- and if that's so, maybe I've lost it. Ever since that day I've been unable to spark even the tiniest bit of magical energy- or well, up until recently, that is. It all started after a slight deviation in this dream I've been having and an incident in the Nevadoran Forest- and now I suddenly got invited to study at a school for Magic, Arthyrell Academy. Will this finally lead me to the answers I've been seeking? ✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧⋄⋆⋅⋆⋄✧ CONTENT WARNING A central focus in the book series is trauma. Therefore, this novel contains and explores themes surrounding mental health, mental illnesses such as depression and anxiety disorders, self harm & suicide, death - either of an individual or genocidal, and other forms of loss, (fantasy) violence and abuse & oppression in multiple forms or ways. This content, while written with care and respect, may be unsuitable for audiences under the age of 13, those who are susceptible to influence from or who are uncomfortable with these types of topics and those who experience triggers as a result of being subjected to harm by any of these circumstances. The novel includes these themes to shed light on and bring about debate on these topics, however this does not mean it will always be a pretty read-through. Especially graphic or shocking chapters contain their own seperate warning.

Some scars never show but they scream the loudest. She laughs with her friends. She shows up strong. She's the one everyone runs to when they're falling apart. But no one ever stops to ask what hides behind her smile. In a world where silence is mistaken for strength and smiles are worn like armor, Amara carries pain too heavy for her age. Abandoned dreams, a fractured family, love that came too late, and a past that refuses to stay buried this is her truth, told in whispers, in shadows, in pieces she barely understands herself. The Silence Behind My Smile is a soul-stirring fictional story inspired by real pain, real healing, and the quiet strength it takes to keep living when you'd rather disappear. This is not just her story-it's the story of anyone who's ever cried in silence... and dared to keep smiling.

"What's your name?" The half-blood blinked-she'd never heard that one before. "Get down on your knees" and "Hurry up" and even "DIE YOU FILTHY SCUM" were the usual ones for her. But "What's your name"? What a commodity. "Why aren't you speaking?" Again, she blinked. Had he never owned a slave before? How unusual-why bother getting one in the first place if you are ignorant at how to treat it? Furthermore, she had yet to see any of the items that were characteristic with being a slave owner: whips, clubs, hot iron, etc... The only thing he could really punish her with could be the stoker for the fireplace, but even that seemed like a minimal threat to her. Seeing his mounting confusion and fascinated by his lack of domination, the half-blood eventually pointed to her collar, in hopes of reminding him of what the handler had said. Realization overcame his young face in the form of a blush, and he questioned with a stutter, "You need permission...? Oh! I-I apologize, I've never done this before... Um... you may respond. Please answer my question..." She stared at him with a fascinated expression for a bit longer, and then nodded, tilted her head, inhaling and exhaling the air with freed relish for a little bit, and then, with a voice that was like vanilla in its sweetness, spoke: "I don't have one." ----- Hated and despised for being a halfblooded vampire, she eventually is bought and saved by a rare pureblood. It is there she gains a name: Ilene.
