Scarlet had never celebrated Christmas before. In fact, she avoided it as best she could. Herb, however, loves Christmas a lot. Now Scarlet will have to come face-to-face with the holiday that brought her nothing but pain. Recently dropping out of college to care for his family, twenty-two year old Jake Carter must pursue whatever opportunities he can in order to keep everything from falling apart. When news of a certain group of clowns started making wind throughout the country for their string of robberies, Jake finds himself mimicking them and taking up a life of crime to provide for his family. After an unfortunate run in with the law, Jake vows to put his life of crime behind him after pulling one last job to keep him and his family well off. Everything had been going all according to plan until he received an unsuspected visit by a curious group of gun-toting clowns. ---

This is my first time writing so I hope you like it. PLEASE read the Description to understand The story. The story follows a group of anti-heroes called Overkill as they do what they can to clean up the streets of Gotham by any means necessary. But what happens when a crazy, blood thirsty villain comes back from the dead to stop them and kill everyone they can just for laughs. I don't own anything except the team name, the characters (Ghost and Reaper) and the storyline. Everything else belongs to Detective Comics (DC). I also added a summary of the characters in case you aren't familiar with them.

Sapphire knows all about the things her mother has done in the past. The question is, will she do the same? Or take a different path?

This vignette was inspired by my daughter. Several wasps invaded our house, upon which my daughter asked, "Could Herb get rid of them with his Lava Lamp Gun?" My response: "That's a fan fic waiting to happen!" So we brainstormed ideas and came up with this little story, suitable for all ages. Enjoy!
