It's been several months since Gregor said goodbye to Luxa under the full moon. There have been unwelcome neighbors in Gregor's mind whispering to him, and unpleasant nightmares. Unexpectedly, Gregor is dragged back into the Underland, but this time, something about Regalia changed.

Gregors life will never be the same, and he knows it, ever since he left the Underland things have changed. But now the Underland is at war again and gregor knows what he must do

I never was normal. I noticed it by the way people stare at my strange purple eyes and pale skin. Purple eyes aren't normal. Nobody has ever had purple eyes. It just doesn't happen. The only eye colors I have ever seen in my short, sucky life were: Brown, Hazel, Green, Blue, Gray, and a mixture of Hazel, Green, and Blue. And the pale skin? Sure, people get pale. But they're usually not so pale that they're almost white with only a tiny bit of color, in the middle of the summer. That also doesn't happen. I also noticed that I wasn't normal because I have no parents. Nobody has ever seen my parents. As if they never existed.
