This is my first poetry book. Go easy on me 😅. This poetry book has a lot of free verse poetry in it. (No rhyme scheme) The reason it's called thoughts of the overlooked is because I feel as if I have been overlooked my entire life. I love to write, so I decided to write poetry about my feelings in different situations. All of the poetry in this book is based off of something that has happened in my life. Amber has been part of the Silvers for 5 months now. A street gang in which the officials are assigned numbers 1 to 15. The high-ranks are feared and respected, while the low-ranks are overlooked. Amber, number 14, is struggling to prove everyone wrong and get assigned a higher number. But It isn't as simple. She will have to prove that she has the skills needed to survive, all while her fellow officials try to push her down. But she isn't going to let that happen.
