This is fanfiction, a short story that just came to me. I got up on a grey November day and looked out. My city looked very unfriendly and it made me think of the state of our world and of another world, simpler, deeper and more colorful: the Earthsea. I cannot say how much I admire the immense work of Ursula K. Le Guin and how sad I am that there will be no more stories written in her unique brilliant voice. Therefore I dared to imagine one of the characters created by her in our world.

Shortish stories that I've made up whilst watering the plants at work. I am trying to make them funny. But the subjects are often serious. Maybe I'm trying for black humour? I've thrown in some sex and drugs and adult themes here more than my other stories elsewhere. Please don't be offended. I'm drawn to environmental issues and I love Science Fiction, so my stories reflect that. I hope you enjoy reading them. Any feedback welcome. J.J.

The world as we know it has changed. For a generation, a plague ruled the world, a plague so deadly the human race nearly didn't survive. In the year 2418, humans thrive once again thanks to life chips - a silicone and metal extension implanted on the brain to remove illness completely. Though years have passed the plague thrives on and everyone must be upgraded. But this groundbreaking technology was not without its sacrifices. Over population has brought about a reckoning - a justice court designed to determine the usefulness of individuals to society. If they are crucial their life license is renewed, if not... 18 year old Iris Calfuray faces her second justice court. But clouded by her sister's death, hate for her mother and her above average arrogance, her chances may not be as sure fire as her intelligence would suggest. As her world struggles to move forward, and rumours spread of individuals surviving without life chips, Iris finds herself surrounded in lies and confusion only she can decipher.

Dark times are falling on the lake where the four clans have dwelt (almost) peacefully for generations upon generations. In a middle of a harsh leaf-bare with clans overflowing with kits, the leaders put their heads together and seek a solution. But at what cost? Can they find a right way to solve this problem without angering StarClan? Hazelpaw is a bright, mischievous she-cat who is well-liked by many in WindClan -- and, as it recently seems, especially by a young, serious warrior. When Ravenstar allows her to go to the Gathering, she is happy to comply, as she'll be able to share tongues with her friends from other clans and find out their news. But will the pain of the leaders' recent decision tear up her optimistic soul? Flinteyes, a newly made warrior, as much as he loves Hazelpaw, is a devout warrior and would die for everything the warrior code stands for. But when he and Hazelpaw are separated, and he finds out through many unlikely events what is actually going on, he starts to rethink whether his devotion to WindClan is stronger than his devotion to Hazelpaw. Author's note: Hey guys, this is a Warriors Fanfiction that is based in a more Asian setting (cuz I live in Asia). This is for your enjoyment (and mine) only. I am not associated with the author(s) of Warriors, and though I will briefly include the setting of the lake (which they reached in the New Prophecy Series), in order to have absolutely no conflict with the ongoing series this is set wayyyy in the future, generations upon generations after Firestar and his companions.
