In the future, there is a nuclear war that kills everyone. Or so we thought. 1 scientist kidnapped 100 people, and changed them so they could survive in the new harsh world. The Touvets remain under his rule. The Dorins are the people who escaped Nebulous' rule. They live in constant fear of war with the Touvets. When Cal is arrested for treason and Ezra runs away to find his lost friend, they unintentionally start another war.
