Overusedtropes Stories

I wish I could explain this feeling. I am sorry to myself. But more so, I am sorry to the world I created. Did I doom you in the pursuit of my own peace? Did I doom myself? And for what, an empty book? a story unwritten? I feel I must try to explain... but I don't know how. My mind holds all the wonder of a child, but not the steadfast, mature perspective of a grown adult. Because of this, I fear my tried explanation will come off as a desperate attempt at excuses, like the nervous babbling of a child trying to cover their ass. It doesn't matter, though. I know for certain no one, barring the greater powers of the universe, will ever see this tale.
