"You're beautiful," he looked me dead in the eyes and I saw that he wasn't joking. He stood up and pulled me up with him. "You are the most beautiful girl I laid my eyes on," he said. "Then you must not have looked at a lot of girls," I responded looking at our feet. He pulled me into an embrace and put his hand on my hips. I tried to wiggle away from him, but he pulled me even closer tightening his grip on me. My head was off to the side. I didn't want to look at him. His finger found his way to my chin and he guided me to look into his eyes. "I will help you see yourself how I see you. I will help you see that you are beautiful. You will love yourself as much as I love you," he proclaimed. He leaned forward breaking the space between us and kissed my cheek. He turned around grabbed my bag and grabbed his keys and went towards the door. ~~~~ Eliza is a short overweight girl. She often compared herself to other girls. She has good friends, awesome brothers, and good grades. But her parents are barely there and when they are they are distant and often feels invisible. When a cute basketball player named Kai takes an interest in her, she finally feels important. He makes her feel alive, wanted, and safe. Battling with her family, friends, weight, and emotions for Kai she tries to find herself. ~~~~~

The story takes place when a lonely farmer that has little money (which is you the reader) has always wanted a friend. Until you win a prize to some sort contest that you have never been invented to. So you go get your prize but the prize isn't money... its a special kind of pig that has human features and somehow wants to be your friend and later in the story wants to be your boyfriend.

Olivia Lorraine, or Olivia Large as the 'populars' cleverly invented, is one of the biggest girls in school. But her problem isn't being fat. Afterall, she isn't the only over weight one in school. Her issue is that people seem to care more about her weight than she does. When ignored insults and witty responses transform to violent tendencies, Olivia begins feeling lost and alone. That is until an anonymous message finds it's way to her phone. It isn't anything mean of stupid like her previous text pranks from school. In fact, it seems a thousand times worse. It's a 3 letter word, bold, underlined and italic. Not to mention in capital letter. 'I like you, Olivia Lorraine" To most, it's a sweet confession from a secret admirer. To Olivia it's the biggest joke she's ever read. As she goes through the overwhelming experiences of making new friends, loving herself and expertly ignoring the anonymous messenger, she can't ignore the nagging in her brain of who is the most ridiculous; The idiot that sent the text. Or herself for hoping it's true.

This is my journal, with all my thoughts and experiences of being overweight. I hope it helps.

Started in March 2019. This story will be about a mix of things, first if all the struggles of being a bigger/fat/chubby/bbw whatever you want to call it. The main character is in her last year of high school and ready to escape her life. I'm really hoping to continue this with the Hope's that I can help others or have people relate. Please dont be afraid to criticise or comment if you like something it will help me to improve. Thank you and enjoy the story.

That Was Then: I weighed over 300 pounds. I was unhappy with myself but still managed to live a semi-happy life with my boyfriend at the time. We were happy and the times we weren't, were attributed to my self-esteem and his indecision as to whether I was supposed to be someone his mother wanted him with, someone Jewish. This Is Now: I've lost 120 lbs. Still morbidly obese according to government health standards, I'm happier, healthier, and still working at losing. I have great friends, a great job (although I'd like to make more money, I mean, who wouldn't), and I have no boyfriend although I'm fine with that. I know I'll meet him when it's meant to be. What I didn't think I would ever do was run into my ex-boyfriend, not knowing I still harbored feelings for him the moment we locked eyes all those years later. And now that I physically look different and feel different, I'm not sure if I like this second journey life now has me on.

Growing pains is not just about size-it's about the quiet battles inside: the way mirrors can turn into enemies, how laughter can sound like it's aimed at you, and how even simple moments-eating in public, walking into a room, standing next to friends-can feel like carrying the world. This story dives into the raw emotions of growing up in your own skin: the shame, the anger, the hope, and the aching question of whether you'll ever feel enough.
