The Lee's are moving, again! It's fractured the close relationship between Kota and Jess. Needing escape from her annoyance and struggling with the fact that she isn't going to know anyone in her new street, Jess goes exploring, aroundher new house in the forest... Which, for her, turns out to be the best decision of her entire life! Accidently going into a very private nature reserve leads to her meeting part of her new family(after almost being eaten by a bear)! Broken and living a life where she doesn't have to interact with any people, Jess crashing into said life forces Sang Sorenson to admit there is more out there. As Jess helps out more on the reserve and finds herself, Sang starts to meet some of Jess's family and experiences things she has no idea how to deal with.
