Eda, her mother, kept several secrets from her-some concerning her own curse, others related to Y/N's other biological parent, and a few harmless lies intended to protect her daughter. Above all, Eda would do whatever it took to keep Y/N safe from the Emperor and his coven, allowing her daughter to be herself while shielding her from an unknown threat that loomed over them. Then one day, a human stumbled into their lives, altering their paths forever. Will Y/N uncover the truth about her other parent? Will Eda's worst fears for her daughter come to pass? Then there's Hunter, who was already emotionally and mentally battered, but now, there was an added part of that pain. He has friends, which he is still getting used to, and maybe even a job? One that he feels drawn to like no other, but something else is pulling him closer. The captain, he always liked her, but is there something more there? Whose to tell besides him and Willow? A mistake of grabbing the wrong shed key leads Mario to another world, one headed by a mysterious Empress Peach. The two make a deal, and Mario is sent off to Hexside School of Magic and Demonics to find those who diverge from the 9 primary coven tracks. But Mario doesn't know the full story, and the students at Hexside are more than happy to deliver- especially if it means more suspicion is drawn upon the Empress's motives for founding the system in the first place.
