A short story-Set in the 1960s, this is the story of a young girl who never had the opportunity to fully realize her potential. Her life took a dramatic turn when she met a charming man and, captivated by his sweet lies, stood against her family and society to marry him. She believed her bubbly cheerfulness would always remain intact, but little did she know that it would soon be diminished by the very person she trusted. Her husband, with his brazen and uncertain future, gradually tarnished the inner child within her. Unbeknownst to the eyes of others and even to themselves, he chipped away at her spirit, leaving behind a shadow of the vibrant person she once was. It's a story about all the Indian housewives who are still dying from within while doing their best for the lives of their partners.
