The Christmas season had come to Gotham City, but crime still runs through the street. As Batman is continuing to keep Gotham safe a hitman, who simply goes by the name Mr. Freeze, is on the deadly hunt for The Dark Knight, as killing him would help Freeze gets what he wants most. Complications also continue for Bruce Wayne as he takes in an orphaned circus boy, named Dick Grayson, to come and live with him. The lives of Batman and Bruce begin to intertwined as faces from Bruce's past also begin to show up. Will Batman be able to stop this new threat or will darker secrets cause Gotham to shatter from the inside.
