It was a bit after Maruki's Palace, after reality was fixed- after they returned to the reality where Akechi had died. But what if he was still alive and well without any of them knowing? But, the chances are comparatively low, and by low- I mean basically impossible for him to be alive, right? No, I'm overthinking it, we watched him die, and now that reality has been fixed, he's dead.

Almost two years after the end of Persona 5 Royal, Sumire takes advantage of a trip to France to find Akechi since Akira found clues that indicate that he is there, but things don't go so well.
