In english class I had to rewrite Pablo Neruda's "Tonight I can Write" in my own words but I had to use one of his famous lines. Tell me how I did.

A response to the sad poem of Pablo Neruda, "Tonight I Can Write the Saddest Lines".

"Catch a boat to England baby Maybe to Spain Wherever I have gone Wherever I've been and gone Wherever I have gone The blues are all the same" - Jackson C Frank, 'Blues Run The Game'

A poem based of the very amazing Pablo Neruda's template for his very famous poem: Ode to an Onion

This poignant piece chronicles a serendipitous reconnection between old friends, sparked by a vivid dream. This is literary non-fiction. The narrator's search for R, a figure from their past, leads to an unexpected reunion after three decades. Their meeting in South Africa is described with profound mindfulness, emphasising the preciousness of rediscovered connections and the ineffable nature of such experiences. The author weaves in poetic references, particularly from Pablo Neruda, to express the depth of emotion and the magical quality of this chance encounter. Cover photo of the author/narrator and R. Property of the author. In the 1970's.
