The world isn't what I had originally thought. In one moment, I'm happy living with my grandfather in his little house in the middle of nowhere--my special nowhere-- the next his servant is taking me away from the grounds owned by my grandfather. Paid with his blood. "They'll come for you," clouded eyes burrow into mine. "And when they do, I will kill them."

January is considered the perfect girl, with the perfect friends, the perfect looks, and the perfect personality. She takes a break from school to go visit some family in a remote town somewhere in Nebraska. Though her friends pester her and prod at her she wont speak of anything that happened there, simply that it was 'fun' or 'you know relatives right?' When one of her best friends, Timothy, gets an abusive girlfriend the anger she has built up for so long starts coming out in all the little ways, though puting on a fake smile isn't always the answer, she fears that if she doesn't, the consequences could be more severe than anything she's ever had to deal with. Friends just being friends realize something is more than simply bothering January, and as she tries to push them away they only get closer, determined to find out what happened that could be so horrible. On top of all this when ever going 'home' is mentioned, even just the word, she seems to either brake in rage or sadness. The fake smile isn't enough to shield herself from them. At the end of it all she is given ultimatum by her family in the mail, either come and live with them, or stay on her own here in Oregon, without help or support from anyone but her friends.

Just a series of random experiences I wanted to share. This story won't be continuous one, some post can be related. Philosophical or not I think you will enjoy the posts as many of you can relate to them. Life of an ordinary person sharing some of his life experiences.

On opening night of the stage play, Perkins' Ghost, at the Astor Theatre, a shocking murder had occurred, leaving many residents of the sleepy hollow to suspect that the murderer might have been that of the ghost of Simeon Perkins. With virtually no clues to follow, apart from the unexplained sightings of a Perkins look-alike, clairvoyants, fortune cookies, intuitions and a seemingly odd connection between the murder or murderer and the Kings Orange Rangers. Sergeant Hill wondered if the murderer would ever be found. The little town of Liverpool, Nova Scotia, once booming with industry, had settled into itself. Ancient trees lined the streets, dappling patterns on the Colonial and Victorian homes. It was a quiet place, where retirees settled and where tourists went to soak up Canadian history or to sit alongside the Mersey River, watching as it glided by while listening to birds twittering in the trees. Nothing newsworthy had ever happened in Liverpool until a murder occurred.

Luscious the latest king of demons is closing upon his 5th year and has yet to choose a bride that is until he meets Calysta a courageous girl who had became a servant in her own home. When time for the tribute comes Calysta is chosen to be presented before the king. Most girls feel that becoming the demon kings bride is a death sentence. Once chosen Calysta is faced with a difficult decision agree to become the bride of a dangerous creature and save all of humanity from the demons. Or be true to herself? Will the treaty be upheld? Only time will tell. But time is one thing they do not have.
