Anakin Skywalker, the Chosen One himself, decided to stand up for the ones he loved. He told the High-Jedi-Concil everything. From his marriage with Padmé to the fact that she hide the truth abought who the father of her unborn child was, because she never wanted for Anakin to leave the Jedi. The High-Concil listened carefully and was silent for some time as Anakin told him everything, abought his nightmares of Padmé dying in childbirth and then abought the nightmares abought himself becomming a Sith. As the Jedi heard this they were silent for some minutes. Then they decided to exclude Anakin from the code and so a new live began.

"Anakin, you can't just leave everything you stood for behind!" I yell. "Padmé, I'm not Anakin anymore! I'm Darth Vader!" Vader replies. I'm hurt but quickly changes my expression to look stern. "You need to stop running." - What if it was different? What if Darth Vader won on Mustafar, and his wife doesn't die in childbirth? Would he be ever saved from the dark side? - This is roughly inspired by the Fanfiction "Prisoner (a short story)" (it's a great story if you haven't read it). By roughly, I mean that I changed the storyline a lot, and I made it so the characters acted more like how I expect they would cononically. I only took the brief outline of the plot. During a lull in the Clone Wars, Anakin and Ahsoka are sent back to the Jedi Temple for a meditation retreat. Master and Apprentice have conflicting ideas about how they want to spend their vacation time. Fluff!

Anakin does not turn to the Dark Side, but escapes the Jedi Temple during Order 66. He and his family then go into hiding for a time. After a while, the Skywalkers help to set up the Rebellion, assisted by Ahsoka and Rex. Anakin trains Luke and Leia as Jedi, and tries to rally the Jedi survivors to the Rebellion as they work towards the goal of defeating Emperor Palpatine. Disclaimer: I do not own Star Wars.
