This is the novella after Breathless the first installment in the Breathless trilogy. Set 13 years after Breathless, Kit Azer is looking for purpose and is on a journey of healing with her best friend Arfan. But will their friendship last when unexpected feelings come into play and curse that will revive her fathers biggest regret. Kit must choose herself or her family.

Now, Adena has to face physical and emotional challenges such as her new name (which is Starry), not being able to escape the circus, Jax's antics, missing Paedyn and Makoto, abstracting characters, putting up with Caine's adventures, and several other obstructions that stand in her way.

this fanfic takes place at the third trial made for paedyn where mak-as-kai didnt sacrifice himself and instead killed paedyn. basically js the aftermath and kai's reaction. i have DESPERATELY wanted a fanfic like this but after about 23 searches which were all variations of 'paedyn dying in third trial fearless' but after no results i wanna make it myself follow for more mini ficss!✨
