In this novel, a teenage ballerina working towards a career in dance, moves into the home of her sponsor. Her sponsors mean well, but they are struggling with two teenage boys of their own. One an athletic people pleaser living in the shadow of his older brother, trying to keep the status-quo. The other, an artist and drug user, challenging everyone and everything in his quest to find himself and somewhere to belong.

Freddi is an average girl or so she thought. Her life was already mixed up, her best friend Luther has been missing for 5 months and her eyes have been changing colour every few years. But on her birthday everything changes she discovers just how different she really is and to top that off she finds out that she might not actually be an orphan like shes thought all this time. Add 3 boys to the mix and a few supernatural beings and you get Freddi's life.
