Paintinggate Stories

It's Hawkins Indiana 1986. The party just (basically) defeated Vecna. But he isn't gone yet. They have to defeat him one last time. So this story mostly focuses on Byler. But it's also basically a s5 2.0, since it plays right after s4. There are some byler gates that I put into the story.

March 22nd, Mike Wheeler goes to California to visit his current girlfriend, Eleven. He seems to be quite awkward with his best friend, Will Byers. He had received a letter from Eleven not long ago saying that Will is working on a painting for someone he likes. [paintinggate]

Since the last season has been full of plot holes, unsolved questions and honestly wrong messages I'm trying to recreate it starting from the beginning of part 2 of season 5. I hope you guys like it, it's my first fic and english is not my first language but if the Duffers didn't do it I will.

ACTIVE STORY! PROLOUGE IS NOT NECCESARY TO BE READ! Timeline: The time gap between the end of season 3, and the start of season 4. With Will in Lenora, and Mike still trapped in Hawkins, they both struggle to understand them selves away from each other. There were many letters written, but un-sent; letters sent, but never seen. They are struggling to truly understand these confusing thoughts in their head, all while trying to adapt to highschool in separate states. When Christmas break comes around, they finally get to see each other again, but they don't know if they be anxious, or happy, or unbothered. They don't know if the other feels the same way. They will wait with inticipation because they have planned to meet over March break as well, but time moves so slowly, especially without each other. PLEASE BE NICE!!! THIS IS THE FIRST FAN FIC I'VE WRITTEN!!!
