Her best friend and roommate, Sabree Evans, won't stop talking about her dream husband. Will it be the cute boy from her literature class? The son of Samuel Hayden who happens to be in their year? The boy who keeps to himself on the second floor? Sabree also worries about her Ceremony that is over two years away. Alissa, on the other hand gets to experience it firsthand as her older sister is to have her ceremony in the coming weeks. Is Alissa prepared for what's to come? Sanga is hugging Touga tightly and shaking in fear. He is afraid of them and won't let them near them. Sanga seems to know Yuki's powers and won't let Yuki near them, won't let him heal Touga. Can they help them? Can they earn their trust? Can they protect Sanga in Touga's place? Will they let help them? Will they trust them? Will Touga's wounds heal?

The inspiration for this story came from my parents and the well-known novel "The Illustrated Man". My parents are...for a lack of a better term, an odd couple. An athletic, smart scientist and a food-loving, always-planning-everything-out project manager. I took a step back and looked at them for their personalities, and realized that no matter how different they are, they are still capable of time-withstanding love. "The Illutsrated Man" contributed a lot of the way I have written this story. In the beginning, Ray Bradbury says, "This book is a collection of What Ifs?" And I have taken that What If? style of writing, and composed 6 romance stories, each pair of people being very diverse in their personalities and actions. I hope you enjoy.
