Everyday since, I have had to find reasons to be alive...to go on. And so far I have. But every day I struggle to do so...to not give up. I struggle to make it through one more day...I struggle with losing Prince.

On April 21, 2016 the world lost an icon of the ages. This was just something I had put together to sum up how we as the Purple Army have been feeling since we lost our sweet Prince. As we continue to enjoy the legacy he left behind and keep him alive in our stories of the many personas of the man who paved the way for "weirdos" and "outside the box thinkers" we remind ourselves that at the end of the day he was immensely loved and will be sorely missed. If there wasn't a more fitting farewell speech for him this would be it. Thank you Prince for teaching us how to love and to cry. We only wish that you taught us how to live without you.
