Retke's life runs on small, reliable rituals. Morning cola. Errands. The television left on so the silence has somewhere to go. Then a pamphlet finds its way into his pocket, and a group of quiet, pale, impossibly composed people begins appearing at the edges of his days. They speak softly about compassion. About purity. About waiting for the right thing before you consume it. They are not what they appear to be. Cannibula Rasa is a slow-burn psychological horror about ideology as seduction, appetite as philosophy, and the moment a man realises the world he thought he understood has been quietly replaced by something else.

A time where template and pale are slowly getting to know each other, they hardly know one another and it was for template to get to know pale, but would everything really go well? Would the two who are practically each other's opposites get along? Now warning! This story will have things related to Anorexia nervosa(a form of an eating disorder) and insomnia and night terrors, if you don't like seeing these sorts of stuff, don't read through everything!

Just outside of the forest Melanarbor, there was a stone structure left behind by an ancient civilization. Within this structure was found a tablet with a single message inscribed in thirteen languages. When compared to characters in historical texts and translated manuscripts, the clearest and simplest translation of the message was: "The Pale Eye watches."

I'm drawing a comic about this already (go check that out if you wanna), but decided to try make a written version. hope you enjoy lol (Does include small swears from time to time, so please read with discretion lol)
