Palemoonlight Histoires

A poem.

Mei Carter has a gift, a gift no other human has. She has the gift to read the minds of people that she touches. She can recover memories from objects she touches and can sense when anything dangerous to her is nearby. Anything supernatural cannot cause her any harm, their powers or "gifts" cannot harm her due to her ability. Nobody knows of her ability because she never told anyone and keeps her distance from all people. Mei has a hard life; her parents died when she was 14. She is now 17 and living on her own working as a waitress at a café. Mei is a junior in highschool, she is basically a loner. People call her a weirdo or freak she doesn't want to be close to anyone and touch them. Mei keeps to herself. A new student arrives at her school. He is mysterious and good looking. He makes Mei on high alert all the time. She avoids him as much as possible due to the danger that is radiating off of him. | This story is highly inspired by a story on an app called "Moments". The story is called "Detroit Underworld: Physic". It's very interesting to me and makes me want to read it more.|
