A twenty-one-year-old, bright-eyed painter and immigrant girl discovers her Baba's scheme: she must either become a doctor, or marry one, for her family's version of American dream. At five years old, Nazneen El-Husseinie fled with her parents from Ein el Hilweh, a Palestinian refugee camp in Lebanon, for the dream of a better life. And now that she has come to age, she has to follow a strict map of 'how to be successful', all planned by her parents, built from generations of sacrifice and the fear of wasting the hard-won privileges their family has earned. This story follows Naz as she teeters between her own dream of becoming an artist and her family's determination to see her become a doctor, all while confronting the haunting possibility that if she becomes neither, her future may be decided for her via marriage.

So you're an arab?!? Perfect! Join me in ArabLand where umm... Arabs exist ofcourse. Badhak. Just grab your bizr, your tea, your shibishib incase you feel the need to hit yours truly or incase a 7arami comes. Only shibishib's are allowed to be thrown at me. No funny, rotten tomatoes. P.S. Make sure your mother doesn't catch you reading this because she'll probably just say something like, "Why you're playing with your phone? You're supposed to be studying. Your bint khaltik studies all day and is kind and helpful? And you? I don't even want to start with you..."

Hafeezah, a devout 23-year-old African American nursing student from Baltimore, moves to New York for NYU. She's soft-spoken, stylish in her abayas, and deeply rooted in Islam. But when she meets Malik, a 6'4 Palestinian engineer with light green eyes, streetwear drip, and a quiet demeanor-her world shifts. Malik is not on his deen. He struggles with faith, choosing the dunya, culture, and rebellion over religion. But something about Hafeezah makes him pause. Her strength. Her peace. Her faith. Her fire. Their connection grows-but so do the trials: • Malik's Palestinian culture clashes with his feelings for a Black woman. •His family's expectations vs Hafeezah's identity and values. •Racism, subtle and not-so-subtle. •Malik's inner battle with Islam, and slowly rediscovering Allah through love, not fear. •Hafeezah holding on to her deen and refusing to fall for a man without the intention of nikah. •This is not a love story of kisses and touches. This is a love story of sacrifice, sincerity, and spiritual transformation.

Poor Palestine. A place where the government are so corrupt they would kill an unborn baby. This story is about a young boy struggling in Palestine and you can understand how desensitised he is. The closest thing to a friend he has is a rat. His entire world is nothing like what we have , but his endurance and gratitude gets him through each day. It is a short piece of prose but if you would like a novel , I can work on it.

Based on true events. Imagine life as it could be; with peace amongst those whom loathe each other most. Or not exactly peace, but more of acceptance and understanding. Where people from countries at war learn to listen to the other side and try to be friends, and try to understand. Where you are free to say what you think in the faces of those you think that of, and get to listen to how they see it too. For three and a half weeks, that world exists in a camp called Seeds of Peace. Live the life of sixteen teens from Palestine, Israel, Egypt, Jordan, the U.S., and the UK and see how they adjusted to their dialogue sessions where they discussed the Palestinian - Israeli conflict. This will basically consist of multiple short stories about how the dialogue sessions progressed, each chapter a different session. It is a hard, eye opening process that will really get your mind thinking and you'll doubt a lot of what you had believed.

The idea of a free Palestine has existed for a number of years and is intricately linked to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Examining the historical backdrop is crucial to comprehend the Free Palestine story. The Zionist movement, which pushed for a Jewish state in ancient Palestine, was founded in Europe at the beginning of the 20th century, which is when the war first began. In accordance with a League of Nations mandate, the British seized control of Palestine after World War I. The Arab countries and Palestinian authorities rejected a partition plan put out by the United Nations in 1947 that would have divided Palestine into separate Jewish and Arab governments. When the State of Israel was established in 1948, it and the surrounding Arab nations went to war. Thousands of Palestinians were uprooted as a result of the conflict, and they now live as refugees in neighbouring Arab countries or in other regions of Palestine. The Arabic word for "catastrophe" is "nakba," and that is how the Palestinians refer to these tragedies. Israel has occupied the West Bank, East Jerusalem, and Gaza Strip since the Six-Day War in 1967; these areas are recognised as Palestinian territory under international law. Israeli settlers have built up colonies in these areas over the years, displacing more Palestinians and dividing their property. Over the years, other groups have emerged within the Palestinian resistance movement, including Fatah, the Palestinian Liberation Organisation (PLO), and more recently, Hamas. These parties have used a variety of strategies in their fight for Palestinian freedom and self-determination, from armed conflict to diplomatic.
