Ray Palmer didn't know what it was like to truly lose something, until he lost his everything. --- A one-shot I wrote in 2014, when Arrow season 3 was airing, and pretty much everyone was giving Ray hate. If y'all want me to write some more one-shots, let me know!

'I hate my life. It's messed up. No one should experience the type of pain I go through every single day. My mom thinks I'm stupid and lazy, my own mother. My dad sometimes gets me, but he only comes over atleast once a month. I'm an only child. Life can get pretty depressing for me. I get bullied at school, not just people calling me names, they beat me and blame everything on me. They force me to do their homework, torture me, threaten me. There's a whole lot of things the kids at school do to me. But what I don't understand is... Why they do this to me and why is my life so horrible. I mean my mom ignores me almost all the time and only talks to me when she calls me names. But anyway, I haven't even told y'all about me. My name is Kadija Morris. I'm African American. I guess you could say that I look exactly like Keke Palmer. I'm 15 years old, my birthday is on the 21st of July. I've never had my first kiss before. We live in a decent house, in Beverly Hills. I go to North Beach High School. It's a pretty nice school but the kids that go there, suck. There's not one nice person at that school. And everyone has a little group. And they all seem to pick on me for some reason. I once told my mom that I get bullied at school and guess what she said? "Good, you deserve it." I couldn't believe my ears when she said that. No one understands me...' - Kadija Morris But one person understands her. His name is Craig Johnson.

"Why won't you let me in?" "Why? Because I don't want to let you in that's why? Your my professor and I'm your student and that's the way it is going to stay Mr. Dallas." He took a step towards me and I instantly took a step back. "Now if I remember correctly I told you not to call me Mr. Dallas. Am I right?" I gulped and nodded my head. "You wanna know why that is Trisha?" He took another step towards me and I took another step back feeling my back hit the door. He pushed his body up against mine and I gasped at the contact. His head dropped low inches away from mine. "Because it turns me on more than you could ever imagine." He said before his lips connected with mine.

Ever since he'd arrived in Nightvale (having long forgotten how exactly he got there), Carlos has been on a roll. Having found a scientific heaven all to himself, he is learning more on a daily basis than most scientists ever dream of discovering during their whole lives.
