A young, 13 year old girl named Mary, has moved to the country, where her dad used to work with his horses. But her dad had a tragic accident, he had crashed while he was trailering a palomino mustang, causing him to die. And the horse to escape, yet still not found till this day. The day Mary and her mother, Brielle had moved to the country, was the anniversary to her fathers death. 1 year ago was when he died. When Mary and Brielle got there, Mary heard a noise in the forest. Yet she ignored it, this would soon change.. Soon on Mary investigated the weird noises, every day for a long while.. till one day. Mary saw it. It was a horse! A palomino mare, Oddly familiar.. Every day, Mary tried to gain its trust, and studied the odd mare. Until one day, she took a closer look at it.. it looked very much alike the horse her dad was trailering 2 years ago. Could this be? Could this be the horse they had lost that day?.. This book is basically about me and my horse , Remi. We do eventing and show in 4-h. She is still green, so now I can share my stories with you about all the ups and downs we have!

She was also unruly, and had a desperate need for speed, and also kicked everyone's ass. whether it is a coin toss, a race, etc. So the two bonded and Aaron saved up enough to purchase the colt from her dad.
