These flat box devices referred to as panel antennas, are found at the top of buildings and used for sending mobile or wifi signals across broad areas. Although they don't travel very far, they are used in devices like routers, access points, base stations, and repeaters. Whereas yagi antennas resemble thin ladders and are designed to transmit signals across vast distances, they are used in devices such as TV reception, amateur radio, satellite communications, and wireless networks. Difference between a Panel Antenna: Panels cast a wide net for nearby devices, while Yagi aim straight and far for specific targets. Each has vibe, with panels being compact and Yagi stretching out for focused, far-off connections.
