‍Ali (Bright Vachirawit), the Prince of Fireflies, lives in the woods just behind a mortal's home. It is the only house located in the area. He never expected in his immortal lifetime to meet a human; Being friend with him even. Kyle Aster (Win Metawin), is just eleven years old when he met Ali in the woods. They've been friends for a year, but Kyle needs to go to high school in a different province. By that, their family will have to change home, and Kyle and Ali will be separated. Six years later, Kyle returns to the woods, right behind their former home, and looks for Ali. He found him. He grew but Ali never changed. Ali finds Kyle very attractive, and so does Kyle. But they keep this to themselves because they are two different beings of two different worlds. They have made up for the longing they had for one another, only for Kyle to announce that, he might never go back to the woods again because he'll focus on college and life after that. To Ali's dismay and melancholy that he'll never see Kyle again, he secretly rides on Kyle's car as a firefly, and joins him to his life in the mortal world. Will Ali be able to adapt with the human world? Will they be able to confront their love to one another? What struggles and consequences will they face? Will the two different beings conquer the hindrances and follow their hearts? Will their love conquer all? Is there a happy ending to their firefly fairy tale?
