So I recently came back to the Harry Potter fandom and I thought I may as well write this. I do not own Harry Potter, all credits go to J.K. Rowling. I only own Remus (NOT LUPIN). Charlie is based off of my best friend (he gave me permission to do this chill), so I technically don't own him either. The characters that are tagged will appear in every chapter, others will only appear to react to the ships they are in. So, for example, Neville would appear for ships like Nuna and Narry but not for Drarry, Harmony, Wolfstar, etc, while Lupin is gonna be forced to sit through all of them. If two people from a certain ship end up together (example: Blaise and Ron), I'll keep them in for the whole thing because I like drama. Quick apology to my fellow Hedric fans, I won't have Harry and Cedric end up together in this because I already planned for Drarry (and Cedric already died in this timeline). But I will be writing a (very fluffy and very gay) Hedric fanfiction soon (where Cedric doesn't die because I don't wanna destroy y'all), so keep an eye out for that! The Battle of Hogwarts was hard on everyone, some more than others, unfortunately even though Lord Voldemort had been defeated, the war hadn't been won yet. The last of the remaining Death Eaters await trial and the final few funerals take place, but something seems off. After Voldemort had died it had seemed to quiet down too quickly, the war had ended too easily, and while most took the speedy victory as a blessing, Harry saw it as a sign for caution. These are some random Drarry ideas I had, feel free to send in requests if you want me to write them. There'll probably also be background Wolfstar, Romione and Deamus but if another ship works better then I'll use that instead, I'm not picky about the other ships as long as I get my Drarry. Draco captures Harry to protect him from Voldemort but Harry doesn't know that. Draco licks him in a dungeon and Harry starts having panic attacks and is freezing. He steals one of Dracos robes that is in the dungeon and wraps up in it. Draco sees this and realizes how adorable Harry looks. He then has to come to terms with his feelings for Harry. Harry was very hurt because he already knew he was in love with Draco but he didn't believe Draco was trying to protect him.

The students who were in their seventh year during the war with You-Know-Who were asked to come and join the teachers for another year at Hogwarts. Hardly anyone returns. It's only Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, Draco Malfoy, Blaise Zabini, and Pansy Parkinson who return. Will Harry finally have a peaceful year? Or will things grow more complicated with the more he learns about Malfoy?

Merlin knows Minerva McGonagall would never let the first years go into the second grade curriculum with the war as their first year. So she comes up with a brilliant plan: former seventh years have an optional eighth year where they can learn the actual seventh year curriculum, then the former sixth years go into seventh like normal, then also have an optional eighth year, same with sixth, fifth, and so on. Until the first years from the war graduate after eighth. Then the seventh from that year graduate, as well. Everything goes back to normal. An unexpected bonus: only the ones who actually care come back for eighth year. Meaning they can have smaller, more interactive classes. People actually ask questions and, more importantly, they really learn. This leads to people selecting classes they really care about, while still taking other classes. Certain people can finally know what they want do, without input from the pressure of others. Just doing what you love can get you far in life.
