When the moon goddess created werewolves, a great evil emerged, threatening her new creations. For centuries, the marked fought the great evil, stuck in a stalemate that seemed never-ending, only ever stalling during the shift from marked generation to marked generation. But in the end, their plan only succeeded in temporarily locking away their foe. Now, the next and last generation of the marked are beginning to band together. Will they be able to defeat the great evil once and for all? Or will they be the last marked generation and fail in their mission?

Trevor Ferox is a 15-year-old teen. He goes to school like normal teen boys, and plays sports like normal teen boys. Though he isn't normal. Trev happens to be one of the only werepanthers in his state, Florida. He lives in a small town called Westoak, in a tiny cottage in a lush forest. All shifters, like him and his mom, act like normal humans, or no-tails, to survive. Its hard to trust... When all you have known is pain. Not just any pain but that pain that cripples you and renders you immobile. The one you just can't for the life of you explain why it is happening. When you're hurt, that wound will heal. Now what can you do, when its constantly reopened? When it comes from who is suppose to protect you? How can a wound so deep heal? Learn to fight, if you want to survive... I heard once... Learn to hold your tongue, if you want to live... I heard second... Hate can be a relief but it can also rot your soul... I heard third... Learning to forgive, is for the intelligent... So why is it so tricky to accomplish? I learned the hard way to fight and to look out for myself. Now that will never crumble, I'll make sure of that!

She's friends with shifters but she doesn't know. She also come from a line of shifters. How it starts is at first both sides of her family come from a long line of shifters later on the shifters start mating humans and then the actual shifters being born in her family are few and far between. Till it gets to her great grandparents grandparents and her parents who aren't shifters even though they have shifter blood in them they themselves aren't shifters they don't even consider the possibility of their kids being shifters so she literally shifts by herself one day with no idea what's going on. She runs to her shifter friends but like I said she had no idea they were shifters. They help her through it though.
