It's 132 years after the fall of Galbatorix, and the Riders are finally returning. A young girl sees a thunder of dragons flying overhead whilst out playing with her friends, and knows exactly what she wants to be. Ten years on, she still possesses that wish. Despite the wishes of her overly-controlling father, she sneaks out to the Egg Ceremony - and all hell breaks loose.

20 years have passed since Eragon and Saphira have left Alaglasia. Together they have created a new order of the riders, and under the guidance of the riders and the benevolent rulling of Nasuada , Alglasia has flourished. However an ancient power approaches which seeks to break the land and leave nothing but chaos behind. Will Eragon and Saphira return to Alaglasia to help restore order to the land? Disclosure: If you enjoy over powered characters and terribly written romances, then you may actually enjoy this.

This poem is based on Christopher Paolini's Inheritance book. It is the fourth and for the time being the last book of the inheritance cycle. It is based on Arya's feelings after the end. I met Christopher on 11/06/2012, a mere three weeks after writing and posting this poem here. I never believed I would meet him. You know the story. The beginning and the end. A lone Rider and dragon prevailing against impossible odds. But what if they were changed? Another pair that takes up the mantle of responsibility and makes a mark on Alagaësia in their own way? What if Eragon had a twin sister and in the Spine, they found a red stone instead? What changes, then, starting from the very beginning? ======================================== An Inheritance Cycle fanfiction/rewrite, written in such a way that even those unfamiliar with the series can read without issue! An OC insert at the beginning of the first book where the difference in character, personality, and actions cause this story to diverge from the one we know slowly. Some of the first chapters are more or less simple edited copies of actual chapters from the books, mainly because there was simply not much to change. But as the story diverges, so will the chapters. Currently, I plan to rewrite the entirety of the first book, but that is a pretty huge goal, so we'll see. This is book 5 of the Inheritance cycle, my version. With Eragon in the unknown lands and Arya the queen of the elves, many years pass. A new King has arisen for Alagaësia, and the riders have been resurrected. Near the coastline city of Kuasta, a young girl was born. Her mother put her in a basket, and left her with a single necklace in the shape of a dragon, made of gold. When a man chanced upon her on a hunting trip, he brought her to an orphanage, where they named her Lilliana and raised her as an orphan. Meanwhile, a new enemy arises from the North. Here's a hint.....Murtagh went north...:P hope you like it! *warning* There is some violence in this book, and I try to be very descriptive. Eragon has landed in the far eastern side of Alagaesia, a place teeming with natural resources and animals but devoid of any interaction with a race. Located within a secret pocket in a never ending blizzard, Eragon chooses to begin anew and raise the new era of Riders there. Meanwhile Arya and Nasuada are at long last happy with the peace that has overcome Western Alagaesia. Under Nasuada's scrutiny, the empire has become a single whole, no longer the jumbled piece of land it was under Galbatorix. But whispers of a new threat are amassing within Alagaesia. Nobody truly knows what the threat is, they only wish for the Rider's protection. Eragon is forced to come out of hiding after two of the eggs hatched. The first, a midnight black male with eyes of fire, for the elf Yaela. The second, an emerald female, for the elf Draxin. But as a wise man once said, sometimes, you worry to much about the crack in the ceiling, rather than the entire mountain. Oh wait, that was just Orik. But, if the trio of legendary Riders don't act in time, Alagaesia could return to the ocean floor, never to be seen again.

Wandering alone among the peaks and forests of the Spine Mountains beyond the realm of DuWeldenvarden, Eragon stumbles across a lone Dragon egg. From the egg hatches an ivory white Dragon, who will become Eragon's only friend and ally. Through tragedy, banishment, wilderness, racial hatred, and war, Eragon and his beloved, wise Dragon Bid'Daum struggle to restore peace between their vengeance-filled races. But can such an unlikely pair bring peace to a warring Alagaesia?

An experiment gone wrong... An explosion from a dragon's fire... The darkness is closing in, ever near. A dragon and rider thrown into the desert, sent to find the legendary Eragon, the one who was to save them all. But, ever since the last rider came back from training, the ones who went after him should have come back. Nobody can be spared, and yet, when this child finds her true fate, she is sent on a life and death mission. Find the hidden training field, and more importantly, find Eragon. Who else is out looking for Eragon? And, what do they know?

After he leaves Alageisia Eragon finds out that there is another danger in Alagesia, what is it this time, who is it? WIll Eragon find a way to bend the witch Angela's prophecy? Read, vote, comment, and share to find out.

The ending of Inheritance (the fourth/ "last" book of Eragon Series) is a little bit sad. Some think that Eragon and Arya should have been together at the end of the story. Christopher Paolini has said that there will be a new book (Book 5) coming out, yet we have no clue when. Thus, I have decided to create another ending for the story. This is the first story I write. It would only be natural that you might spot some mistakes; in that case, please message me. Enjoy the fan-fiction :) We are currently improving the previous chapter.
