Whoever said loving someone was easy? Alpha thought it would be easy, but sadly he was mistaken. Demons can be stronger than love. On the other hand, Water and Papa struggle to keep their relationship a secret for if others found out, that could spark up an argument. It could ruin the Emeritus family line as well. Earth and Air are the only functional couple in this story of disaster and misunderstanding. Old foes are reintroduced as old wounds are reopened.

Introduction: Hello my friends, I am copiaperson as most friends know me on twitter and tiktok. This is the first fanfiction I have ever written, its a fluffy one, and very self indulgent. It is a Cardinal Copia fic from the band Ghost, he (and his Papa IV form) is my favorite frontman so expect more fics starring him in the future. An earth ghuleh by the 'ghoul name', Terre ghuleh, falls for the quiet loner of the church's band, Mountain. After bumping into each other, the two immediately sense a connection. Will they become closer or maybe drift apart?..

It's cheesy and lame, you've been warned. So basically this is what my other TF story "Why Me?" Should have been. Instead of the 80s this takes place in the late 90s. I took my time with this story and actually had a sense of where it was going. Enjoy!

Terzo Emeritus left the Church a year ago to tour with the band, leaving behind a confused and heartbroken Copia. Vowing to be able to hold his head up high when faced with the man again, Cardinal Copia continues to get on with his work, ignoring the sting of feelings he's buried deep in his chest. However, time had an uncanny thing about it and old wounds eventually scar bringing forth new growth. A year of healing made Copia stronger, his bond with the Ghouls was better than any other, and with them, at his back, he was ready to deal with the return of his former lover. Though, no matter how much he tried to block it out, the passage of time had done nothing to dull the ache for him.

Note that this story is a bit lame, I wrote this years ago. But if you're okay with really cheesy stuff, then you should get a laugh from this one. :) I feel like descriptions kinda give the story away because it sort of gives you a sense of what is going to happen. But you'll have to read to figure out what happens in this story. (: The story takes place in the late 1980s (1987 to be exact) so yeah.
