Masters   **** I loved the detail and the interplay between the characters. The author also did a fine job of describing the chase through the town and the handcar process. The imagery was specific enough for me to picture everything in my mind, but not so much so that it bogged down the action.  Overall, I enjoyed this story and would recommend it to folks who love a good western, a good chase or mischievous characters with a lot of personality (gotta' love how Hawk always manages to snag one or more of the Judge's cigars).  ·· Patricia Hamill on Goodreads

The story revolves around an innocent girl who has a pure heart and who tries to solve the mysteries behind the disappearance of her father. In order to solve the mystery she unlocks many hidden secrets which were buried from ages. The more she gets closure to the case the more she understands the reality of life. She is accompanied by some of her trustworthy fellas who helped her to find the truth behind the disappearance of her father. Many adventurous events took place which made her stammer at first then slowly she regained consciousness and acted as a fearless character. She gained the strength to unveil the untold stories. She met many interesting characters during her journey and learned unique things to find her missing father.

This book is just a lot of fun! With flavors of Samurai and Steam-punk adding spice, it rocks along from delight to surprise, and all along it is highly satisfying. Oh, on first reading, towards the end I thought maybe it bogged down. But it is the sort of book you want to re-read as soon as you finish it, because it was just so much fun. The story continues apace, right to the last page. And the ending is a pure delight. Don't peek, you won't get it. But I can assure you: it will give you huge satisfaction, and you will be glad you chose to read this book. •• William Fletcher **** ...Overall, this is an entertaining book on many levels.
