Rifleman Arthur Cadoc, guerrillero, rogue and hero, and now going by the moniker of El Tirador - the marksman, rides with Spanish Colonel Rai Herrero's irregulars, who have joined Wellington's allied army to fight in the Pyrenean campaign. It is the winter of 1813 and the French are being pushed back from their mountainous border defences and into southern France. The long and bitter war looks soon to end because Napoleon is rumoured to have suffered a spectacular defeat in the north against the Prussians, Austrians and Russians. However, Marshal Soult's French army will fight Wellington's men every step of the way, and so Cadoc has one last campaign to battle before he can hang up his prized rifle for good. Facing pitched battles, deadly raids, and the rescue of a comrade behind enemy lines, an old enemy returns and suddenly Cadoc finds that the war truly is far from over.

Hot Chick Kicks Butt! An ancient Power, corrupted nobles, a vibrant young warrior woman and a monumental task against insurmountable odds. A great power, defeated eons ago, arises and sets out to corrupt the world. A young woman, trained from childhood by monks, must journey across hostile land to the west. Along the way she is joined by a disparate group from many walks of life. But there are powerful forces that would see to her undoing. Will she accomplish this monumental task? Reviews: ***** Whoa, slow down there, Turbo! A sexy babe with muscles, training, and ability. A guy with a laser sword, a giant, ancient warriors. This has it all. You did it again, dude. What a great story.  ·· J.D. King   ***** Strong start. OMG, love the cover! The description in the book of the girl and her outfit (and why it's so scanty) is believable and impressive. If I hadn't seen the cover pic, I think I would have pictured the same girl.  ·· Anymous (Goodreads)   ***** ...Overall, I really liked this book, though I can only make it through one or two battle scenes in a single sitting (probably why it took me a while to read the story). The characters are charismatic and their banter is humorous. I enjoyed the magical elements and the hints at a greater history.  ·· Patricia Hamill on Goodreads

In Maddison's last visit to the ancient city, she encountered a man. More surprising was what he lacked on his face.... He wore no mask. A hundred years since the Great Disaster and he not only lived beyond infancy, but he breathed the air. No one breathed free air anymore at the risk of dying cancerous and crazed. Nothing of value is free-not the water, not the land, not the food... ...and certainly not the air.

Available on Kindle and Paperback now! https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07D1CZKSY After nineteen years as a prisoner to the Stonerow curse, fate owes Lady Maud a cursebreaker... and delivers a Knight on a covert mission to win his Prince's war, Sir Favior Elwyk. Surely it shouldn't be so difficult to accept happily ever after? This Wattpad edition is a sample of the first 10%. My interepretation of the loathly lady fairytale, a feminine counterpart to beauty and the beast! A warning: this retelling contains some dark themes ~~An Excerpt From Chapter 12~~ I could tell he meant to say something, so I held onto my cooling supper and waited patiently for it. Finally, after a long while, he found the words; 'I knew I would marry eventually. And, most probably, for the sake of alliance to our cause.' He stopped contemplating the fold of cloth in his hand and looked directly at me; 'My lady, I have not been properly gracious. Your hand is an honour to hold.' I had not expected an apology or anything but grudging acceptance up to our marriage and beyond it. I actually blushed. 'Thank you, sir.' He nodded. He was still stiff and his retreat to proper formality was far too late after all I had already seen of him. I never cared what man might free me from my curse but I knew that I should be so glad it was Favior. I liked him already. We could do well together - if he would only allow it. I searched for the words to express that; 'Favior, I should tell you, about the curse-' 'Maud,' he interrupted. 'Please, I do not wish to talk of the curse anymore.' His tone was low and fierce, a shock. 'Can we not put it behind us?' he asked.

I'd recommend it.  ·· JD King   ***** The power of the Crystal and the power of the crystal warriors makes for a great battle scene. Tarina is one tough and beautiful young lady.  ·· W.R. Masters  ***** Excellent story. I devoured this book in a day and a half...
