Available on Kindle and Paperback now! https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07D1CZKSY After nineteen years as a prisoner to the Stonerow curse, fate owes Lady Maud a cursebreaker... and delivers a Knight on a covert mission to win his Prince's war, Sir Favior Elwyk. Surely it shouldn't be so difficult to accept happily ever after? This Wattpad edition is a sample of the first 10%. My interepretation of the loathly lady fairytale, a feminine counterpart to beauty and the beast! A warning: this retelling contains some dark themes ~~An Excerpt From Chapter 12~~ I could tell he meant to say something, so I held onto my cooling supper and waited patiently for it. Finally, after a long while, he found the words; 'I knew I would marry eventually. And, most probably, for the sake of alliance to our cause.' He stopped contemplating the fold of cloth in his hand and looked directly at me; 'My lady, I have not been properly gracious. Your hand is an honour to hold.' I had not expected an apology or anything but grudging acceptance up to our marriage and beyond it. I actually blushed. 'Thank you, sir.' He nodded. He was still stiff and his retreat to proper formality was far too late after all I had already seen of him. I never cared what man might free me from my curse but I knew that I should be so glad it was Favior. I liked him already. We could do well together - if he would only allow it. I searched for the words to express that; 'Favior, I should tell you, about the curse-' 'Maud,' he interrupted. 'Please, I do not wish to talk of the curse anymore.' His tone was low and fierce, a shock. 'Can we not put it behind us?' he asked.

Winter remembers the massacre like it was yesterday. She and Holly had almost made it that night, and they should have known something was going to happen. All of nature had foretold of something horrible. The trees and bushes had cowered in fear. The clouds had blocked out the sun, and even the moon and its bright, showy stars hid themselves away, yet no one cared to notice the signs before the attack started. Winter's best friend had died that night, along with the rest of the village, including Winter. Although she survived, she will never be the same. Published book Highest rankings: #159 in winter #100 in snow

A Western Detective/Lawman Novel Don't miss this fun tale of an Indian US Marshal and his 6'2" cowboy partner against clever criminals in the old west.  In the late 1800s old American west a full blooded, Harvard educated American Indian is sent covertly into the lawless west to investigate illegal doings. But these businessmen are clever and will do whatever is necessary to protect their nefarious efforts. Hawk and his 6'2" cowboy partner must outwit their opponents. Can it be done before they are shot and killed? Tyrone Narrowhawk: known as Hawk, raised by a powerful federal judge, educated at an eastern college, graduated with honors, law degree from prestigious Harvard University, a U.S. Marshal’s star, his wits, and a gun. Merle Johnson: a former Calvary Lieutenant sharp shooter turned cowboy just trying to make his way in life when circumstances turn him upside down. Steely-eyes: an intelligently cold, calculating killer, henchman for Dunston and company. Many others compete in this exciting tale of wits and gun battles in the old west.   Reviews: **** Very Entertaining... I find this book to be very entertaining and full of action. It is also different! I enjoyed the Western style composure of this book and there is no dull moment. It keeps you in suspense! I plan to recommend it to my friends because I enjoyed it.  ·· Tamarah   ***** A good read with characters you like. I'd recommend it.  ·· W.R. Masters   ****  I most enjoyed the fast paced, action driven storyline and the tongue-in-cheek banter between Merle and Hawk (and between Hawk and the judge that put him through college). Besides that, I got a kick out of Merle's nemesis, a certain shoulder cannon with, well, a kick.  In summary, Educated Injun is action-packed, funny, clever, and entertaining.  ·· Patricia Hamill on Goodreads

The forgotten temple of the Goddess Narine, the mystical Lady Mist, and a new army controlled by evil. Will they overcome such tremendous odds?   The deep desert is a vast wasteland, thousands of miles of shifting sands and blowing winds. Ancient obelisks are discovered leading to the forgotten temple of the Goddess Narine. The reading of the Twelve Tablets brings forth a mystical being, but also releases a powerful evil. All the people of the eastern and deep desert are in peril. Those possessed by the evil must be stopped before it can be brought back into balance. Can it be done?   Don't miss this exciting tale of an ancient Goddess, mystical evil, and epic battles! Reviews: ***** ...What I most enjoy about this story is the ability of the author to draw one into the minds of his characters, even those who happen to be on the "wrong" side of the battle. Additionally, the banter is natural and entertaining, the characters are complex and dynamic, and the battles are epic and exciting. On that note, few authors are able to narrate a battle with such skill that they can keep me from skimming through them, but R.L. Kiser is one of them.  ·· Patricia Hamill on Goodreads **** R.L. Kiser has created a really epic trilogy with the Tales of the Crystal series and I have loved each one more than the other. The Twelve Tablets is fast paced and it really forces your brain to try to keep up with all of the action, while at the same time keeping you engaged in the characters. For me, this book is very character driven and I like that fact. Each character is well fleshed out and you can picture them in your mind and understand why they choose to do the actions they do. Lovers of fantasy are really going to enjoy this last installment of the series because it hits all the key points you like to see in well written fantasy work. I am glad that I started reading this series and would highly recommend it. ·· Kathryn Bennett for Readers' Favorite

A 6'5" starship captain flees a lost war and lands on Earth in 1600s feudal Japan. Imagine the possibilities! Culture Clash! A tall white man from an advanced space traveling culture lands in primitive 1600s feudal Japan. The disparity is obvious. This can go one of two ways. Either the locals can be instantly on the defensive and try to kill or capture this tall interloper, or they can try to learn who and what he is. Which will it be? Reviews: ***** Great fun! This book is just a lot of fun! With flavors of Samurai and Steam-punk adding spice, it rocks along from delight to surprise, and all along it is highly satisfying. Oh, on first reading, towards the end I thought maybe it bogged down. But it is the sort of book you want to re-read as soon as you finish it, because it was just so much fun. The story continues apace, right to the last page. And the ending is a pure delight. Don't peek, you won't get it. But I can assure you: it will give you huge satisfaction, and you will be glad you chose to read this book. •• William Fletcher **** ...Overall, this is an entertaining book on many levels. There is real-life and science fiction technology, laser fights and battles between uneven forces where the underdog must overcome long odds, strong women who overcome social barriers and can hold their own, and a little mystical and technological awesomeness in the main character Kendrick. Those who enjoy humorous situations and camaraderie will find more than a sufficient dose in this book to satisfy their funny bones. •• Patricia Hamill on Goodreads ***** Exciting - this is the most appropriate word to describe Exile. Author R.L. Kiser put a bit of everything in the story. Simply put, Exile is a stellar work from Kiser, with appealing characters and an absorbing tale. •• Lit Amri for Readers' Favorite
