In a world where everyone has a destined partner, what is one to do when you don't believe you have one? That is Dr. Flug's problem. However, Black Hat's is vastly different. [Paperhat Soulmate AU]

Flug finds himself in a rather inconvenient situation. He accidentally shrunk himself while testing his new shrink ray. With his body now too small to operate it, the gun fell and broke. He attempts to fix this whole mess before time runs out on him but before he can get anything done, Blackhat decides to pay him a visit due to sheer and utter boredom. While mildly amusing blackhat agrees to help Flug somehow fix this mess. Demencia however grows suspicious of Flug's sudden disappearance and her Boss's weird behaviour and convinces a worried 505 to investigate with her. (I drew Flug bigger for the Thumbnail than he is described to be in the story, just so you can see him at all. lmao the image is so blurry and I don't know how to fix it, I tried so many different resolutions. It's such a high quality image, something, something 1920x 3000 pixels)

Black Hat's company is going to shit. His catalog is going on a downward spiral, hitting him with stress. So he takes it upon himself to work with Dr. Flug to create a new line of devices and weapons, that he hopes will save his business. Flug is a mess. His lack of sleep takes a toll on his ability to make his devices, and he just cant seem to do anything right. But when Black Hat orders Flug to teach him how to build and invent, it takes him by surprise, and he slowly sees this as a chance to show his boss how useful he really is. but unexpectedly, as they work together and get closer, the two begin to discover feelings for the other that they didnt know they had before.

Dr. Flug just graduated from college and is now trying to find job that values his love for science. Black hat is a cruel non-human entity who's trying to start up his business by finding someone with enough brains to make a simple ray gun. The two collide paths.

I have never seen villainous, just a bunch of wattpad stories and fan art so this is my take. It will have a self insert that you can view as y/n if you want but it won't follow the steoro type y/n. It will have my own drawings and world lore, as well as a attempt at being a "connect the dots" story line. This was initial inspired my miloeatsmoss's story 'the cure for one is the cure for another" so go check that out! (This is my first ever attempt at a fictional so bare with me here.
