Paperhouses Stories

This is Sarah Wilson's journal. She's moving back to her home in Flint, Minnesota, and is finally going to see her best friend Nathan White again. As she tries to adjust back to her life, her and Nathan go through some troubles. Some are minor, some are major. Sickness, death, and injury seem to crowd their life, far more than when Sarah first moved away. Gains and losses, happiness and sadness, they choose to stick together. But some things are harder to face than others... (This is on hold, I don't have much inspiration to write it.)

We both turned to head out towards the streets, lifting our heads towards the sun as its warmth hit us. "Vada?" I asked. She turned to face me, her features the softest they had been all day. "Yes?" she answered, quietly. "Why did we do this? What did we spend all this time building if this is how it's going to end? Why did we climb only to fall so far?" She sighed. Not an angry or over dramatic sigh, like she had done earlier in the day. But, a real, soft, apologetic sigh. "Niall, the only thing I can say is that ultimately we all think we can fly. We all think we're Icarus." "What do you mean?"

When Jade returns to Ireland from Japan and Los Angeles everything changed. Her best friend Niall Horan is off traveling the world touring for his new album. He was the only one she had when her dad died and when her mum started dating all the wrong guys. Now that she's home and own her own she doesn't feel like she needs him...But she very well could be wrong. Could everything change when Niall comes back from tour?
