Historias de Papyrusxtoriel

(Cover is a work in progress) Papyrus Ebone is the highly-regarded, kindhearted king of the Underground, the Kingdom of Monsters. His older brother, Sans, ran away many years ago after the death of their little brother, Gaster, and little sister, Ani, leaving him all by himself and trying not to crumble under the weight of his responsibilities as king. Having no children or younger siblings to pass the crown onto, he is left ageless for decades upon decades, his older brother still remaining unfound. Lighthearted Toriel, a sentry in Snowdin Forest, is the complete opposite. She has not a care in the world except for the safety of her spunky little brother, Asgore, and is just beginning her young adulthood. She tells puns through a large purple door to an anonymous friend of hers, who surprisingly talks a lot about the King, and quite fondly too. Her father, Asriel, is the Royal Scientist, and she sometimes accompanies him to work to help out. One day while going to talk to Papyrus about something, she sees him crying, and immediately decides to cheer him up the best she can. This sparks a friendship between the two, but over time, Toriel longs for something more than just her King's friendship. Bet $5 I'm the only person who loves this ship. Get fukt, Soriel. Toriel's brother, Asgore, tells her to stay inside while he fights the human. He, unfortunately, does not survive. He leaves a note for his little sister in his notebook, telling her there is a large door in the forest, and that the man who lives behind it will keep her safe until she can see him again. His only dying wish is for her to be protected and happy. So she follows her brother's instructions to let him be at peace in death. The beautiful drawing on the cover is by @BKdreamsans!
