Welcome to the Alternative Route to my story, 'Forgotten History'. The war has begun. The banished child WD Gaster has come home with his offspring and the skeletons fear the great prophecy is upon them... but what if it never happens? What if the war completely bypassed the skeletons to continue their isolation?

Set a few years before the cataclysm that destroyed the world thanks to the virus that occurred in Owari no Seraph, Sans appears in Tokyo in 2004, eight years before the cataclysm. His existence disrupts the world's balance and awakens the interest of hidden organizations and supernatural forces.

This story takes place after the events of the pacifist ending of Undertale, where all the monsters have already left the underground. However, that won't stop problems from starting again; Frisk and his friends will have to face a new threat. DISCLAIMER: This story is based on the fact that the first human fell underground in 2015 and the last in 2060. Here, Deltarune is a sequel to Undertale; therefore, Posttale is not a copy of TobyFox's creation, but an adaptation, or what is also called an "AU." If given the chance, would you start over? After falling into a timeline where nobody was murdered, his mother never died, and his father was never erased, Sans should be ecstatic that he has a second chance with his loved ones. But there is no denying the trauma he'd been through, either. Everyone is supposed to be dead, after all. What if Frisk comes back to take it all away again?

Following the aftermath of the Undertale pacifist run, something strange occurred. Frisk's ability to reset is gone, and odd occurrences happen, targeting Ebott city and beyond. Without the ability to reset, the entire world is on the line. However, one lost entity finds its purpose.

After Undyne sees Sans using his full strength on a surprise ambush, Sans gets forced into a promotion from Sentry to actual guardsman, still trying to do the bare minimum while Undyne forces him to give it his all. I don't have any money for commissions for the cover so I just gotta hope I hit it big and get fanart or we sticking with the Tumblr header that's not centred. Other than that uhh, credit me if you do anything with these guys in your work. Also isn't it kind of weird the only change I needed to make for this story to work is just to delay the time it takes for some of the humans to fall into the underground? Frisk tries to kill themself and Sans stops them. btw my headcanon is that when the monsters moved to the surface Frisk decided to live with Sans and Papyrus.
