Εκείνος, ανίκανος να μείνει πιστός, αναζητά πάθη που δεν μπορεί να ελέγξει. Εκείνη φέρει έναν χαμό που την τσακίζει. Όταν οι δρόμοι τους συναντώνται, ο χρόνος σταματά και η επερχόμενη καταστροφή γελά. Ο Κωνσταντίνος Απέργης πίστευε πως μπορεί να ζει ανάμεσα σε δύο κόσμους, στον κόσμο που έχτισε με την Αθηνά και το παιδί τους, γεμάτο αγάπη, όνειρα και υποσχέσεις, και σε έναν άλλο, κρυφό κόσμο, όπου μια παράνομη σχέση γεννήθηκε στη σιωπή, ποτίστηκε με απαγορευμένη επιθυμία και γρήγορα έγινε αβάσταχτη ανάγκη. Εθισμός. Πίστεψε πως μπορεί να έχει και τα δύο. Πίστεψε πως μπορεί να ελέγξει την απόσταση ανάμεσα σε αυτό που νιώθει και σε αυτό που κάνει. Μα τα ψέματα, όσο προσεκτικά κι αν τα πεις, κάποτε φωνάζουν πιο δυνατά απ' την αλήθεια. Όταν η ισορροπία χάνεται, οι πράξεις δεν μαζεύονται. Κι αυτό που ξεκινάει σαν παρόρμηση, γίνεται το σημείο χωρίς επιστροφή. Όλοι κάνουμε λάθη. Εκείνος έκανε το λάθος που θα του κοστίσει τα πάντα. Και θα το θυμάται... κάθε φορά που την κοιτάζει. Εκείνη. Την γυναίκα της ζωής του.
