But noone ever describes the kind of pain when you're trying to hold onto someone bagging you to let them die. Knowing that for someone out there, being forced to wake up in a body they detest, is more painful than destroying it. Hearing someone's last wish: not being mad at them for giving up. THIS is the pain you have to stand. But THIS is what you do when you choose this job...this is what you need to ignore...

After a wild call Lyla returns back to the station with her partner, when Lyla finds a little girl hiding in the coed bathroom, Lyla begins to suspect that something must have happened to the girl. Her suspects turn out to be true when she finds out the little girl had ran away from home due to her abusive upbringing. With no where to go or no one to take care of her Lyla volunteers to take her home for the night. The truth of what happened to the girl comes to the light, and Lyla finally knows her next step. Becoming the little girl's legal guardian/mother!

The story of Chris and Ben

Increasingly, with a 24 hours news cycle, and citizen cell phone newscasters, our society is quick to make a judgement about the most serious of situations without any facts. Time is a great equalizer, but often the damage and pain created by rushing to judgement creates a wildfire that destroys anything in its path. Join me in this retelling of a story about a few heroic firefighters that were called to the carpet by the same community they risked their lives protecting. Not being able to defend against a media organization that buys their ink by the barrel, the fire department had to accept their licks despite doing everything right.

This is my version of a 9-1-1 and 9-1-1 Lone Star Crossover. When everyone from the 118 except for Buck and Bobby get trapped from a cave collapse Buck must call on TK and the 126 to help get them out. This story will expand Buck and TK's friendship as they get to know each other more.

My experiences so far as a paramedic, and the lessons I've learned working in healthcare. I'm not writing this to tell anyone how to feel, or how you will feel. It's not "will it happen?" It's "when it happens".

An EMT named Josh Boyson, age twenty-four, who responds to a devastating car accident caused by a drunk driver where a young teenage girl named Tracey Morgue who was involved in the accident and the scene triggers a memory of a time Josh caused an accident while driving under the influence when he was nineteen years old-and a senior in high school but kept it a secret for five years. Now Josh finds out that after the accident the same girl named Tracey in the DUI accident is the same girl who Josh had ran over her little sister named Emory Morgue who Josh had killed-but ran from the scene. But after the accident, Tracey's father named Sawyer Morgue who hijacks the ambulance while Josh is treating Tracey in the ambulance on their way to the hospital and Josh is held at gunpoint. Josh while in the ambulance with Sawyer and Sawyer's brother is driving the ambulance while on a police chase. Sawyer wants Josh to confesswhy he ran from the hit and run after running over and killing Emory. But will Josh confess and can he deal with the stress of saving Tracey Morgue and dealing with the guilt of killing Emory Morgue.
